2014 Concerts Raise $7,950

2014 Canticles for Life AIDS Benefit Concerts Raise $7,590

The 2014 Canticles for Life AIDS Benefit Concerts were presented on March 29 & 30 at St. Vincent de Paul Church in Stirling and the First Presbyterian Church of Boonton.  A variety of vocal music was featured, as performed by the Triad Vocal Ensemble, singer-songwriter Dave Rimelis and pianist Ted Brancato, and the Newark Boys Chorus School.  Panels from the AIDS Memorial Quilt were also on display, and a new panel was dedicated in memory of Regina “Missy” Brunson.  A total of $7,590 was donated to three area charities that serve those impacted by AIDS and in remembrance of lives lost: the AIDS Resource Foundation for Children, New Jersey AIDS Services and the NAMES Project of Northern NJ.
