Due to the current corona virus pandemic, the Triad Arts Ensemble Board of Directors has decided to postpone this year’s concerts. It is our hope to present these concerts later in the spring or in September 2020. Whatever the scenario, we plan to make donations, as usual, to the three benefiting organizations: NJ AIDS Services, the AIDS Resource Foundation for Children and the NAMES Project of Northern NJ by mid-June. So any donations already received will not only support the presentation of the 2020 concerts whenever they occur, but will also directly support these organizations who so urgently need our contributions to care for their clients.

Please check our website in the coming weeks for updates. Please stay safe and healthy.

Welcome! Since the first Canticles for Life AIDS Benefit Concert in the spring of 1997, we have presented performances almost annually to raise awareness and funds to benefit the following charities which are concerned with the quality of life for persons with AIDS and the remembrance of lives lost: the AIDS Resource Foundation for Children, in Newark; the NAMES Project of Northern NJ, which supports the AIDS Memorial Quilt; and NJ AIDS Services, which provides supportive services, housing opportunities, prevention strategies and community education in New Jersey. Since the concerts began, over $149,000 has been raised in support of this music ministry.

The first Canticles for Life AIDS Benefit Concert occurred in the spring of 1997, when composer Virginia Johnston and fellow musician Pamela Taylor had the idea of presenting an evening of music that would directly benefit those in New Jersey affected by HIV/AIDS.

Due to the corona virus pandemic, this year’s concerts have been postponed. Please check back for more information.
